So Meredith fell down the stairs while, presumably, riding a rolling toy unsupervised in the public stairwell of an apartment. Who wants to be the first to call SRS on Deanna?

First Dee in appropriatly lets Meredith stand on a chair and put things into a POT of water, then treats the child badly when she has an accident. Now this. Hmmmmm
Poor Meredith was a victim of plot device. She had to fall and injure herself so that we could better see the cold heart of Kelpfroth.
I know I might be revealing my medical ignorance with this question...but Deanna draws a distinction between a broken arm and a fractured one. Aren't they the same thing?
I think a fracture is more like a crack that doesn't split the bone completely apart. Like a cracked teacup. A broken bone is broken into two pieces and has to be set; a fractured bone merely has to be cushioned while it heals.
